Our Story
Sulina Shop is more than skincare. It is a story of identity, resilience, and heritage.
Founded by sisters Susan and Shelina, Indo-Fijian women whose story is intertwined with the broader Indo-Caribbean community, Sulina was created to honor our roots and share the traditions that shaped us.

Our Roots
Our story began generations ago, when our ancestors were carried across oceans and built new lives from strength and perseverance. From those beginnings grew communities that turned hardship into heritage, creating identity, connection, and pride that continue to thrive today.
It is what shaped Indo-Fijian and Indo-Caribbean history: the rhythm of our families, the flavor of our food, the words in our language, and the strength in our traditions.
Our Philosophy
Generations later, we found healing by returning to the ingredients we grew up with: tamanu, turmeric, and other botanicals that connect our Indo-Fijian roots.
These ingredients inspired our formulas, blending Ayurvedic wisdom with tropical abundance and reflecting the way our culture itself was formed through resilience and nature.

Our Name
Even our name, Sulina — a blend of Susan and Shelina — represents unity, legacy, and love.
Our Purpose
Sulina Shop exists so everyone can feel seen, celebrated, and rooted in who they are.
It is not just skincare.
It is remembrance.
It is resilience.
It is visibility.
