Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 for Skin

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 is a peptide derived from four amino acids: glycine, glutamine, proline, and arginine. These amino acids function on the molecular levels in the skin layers to give anti-aging benefits by promoting cell creation and improving the regeneration process. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is also included in cosmetics and cosmetic products to inhibit the creation of excess interleukins, which are chemical messengers that initiate the body's acute inflammatory response. Inflammation damages the skin's support system (collagen, elastin, and other proteins), causing wrinkles, drooping, and uneven skin tone. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 may also help with rough skin, fine lines, thin skin, and wrinkles. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is a commonly used anti-aging component in serums, night creams, anti-wrinkle creams, under-eye concealers, moisturizers, and hyperpigmentation treatments.
